Transport to Treatment

“From the moment your bus picked us up at the PA Hospital, I felt like I could relax for the first time since yesterday. Bill’s friendly banter and everyone’s help made us immediately feel cared for.” – Helen & Wilfred.

Support during COVID-19

Cancer Council Queensland values the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and especially those living with cancer. We are focused on doing what we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please note that some of CCQ’s COVID-19 measures may exceed what is required by Government direction. These measures have been carefully decided upon to add additional degrees of protection against the transmission of COVID-19.

We have increased cleaning measures throughout the vehicle fleet and have provided hand sanitisers and masks for use in all our vehicles.

At this time, we would like to advise that all booking are made without guarantee of service. If we cannot provide the service, we will advise you at the earliest possible time so you can make alternative arrangements.

Using our Transport Services during COVID-19

Before using our Transport Services, all service users must comply with the following:

  • Are not feeling unwell with COVID-19 symptoms such as a fever (above 37.5C), sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, or cold/flu like symptoms and are otherwise well.
  • Practice good hygiene, use the hand sanitiser in vehicles and wear a face mask if you feel comfortable doing so.

If you are unable to satisfy any of the requirements above, please contact 13 11 20 or your local transport service immediately to discuss.
